Intelligent Path Planning

The Mi Robot Vacuum is a highly intelligent home clenaing device with 12 different sensors. The Three processors track its movements in real-time and calculate the data using Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) algorithm to map out the layout of your home and determine the best cleaning routes.

 

Laser Distance Sensor (LDS)

The Laser Distance Sensor (LDS) allows the robot toscan its surroundings 360 degrees, 1800 times per second, mapping out the interiors of your house.

 

Three Processors

To provide more location stability there are three dedicated processors in the device to track its movements in real-time, calculate the location and determine the best cleaning routes.

 

High Sensitivity and Precision Sensor System

The Mi Robot Vacuum uses its complement of 12 sensors – including ultrasonic radar sensor, cliff sensor, gyroscope and accelerometer – to map out the interiors of your house.

 

Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) Algorithm

Basing on the data form the sensor system, the robot uses SLAM algorithm for better cleaning. This algorithm helps in mapping unknown territories with updated location of the device calculating the best cleaning path.

 

Walk the Right Way

The robot will start cleaning with Edge cleaning mode and Zigzag cleaning mode. Following the well planned path, it can skirt the obstacle automatically and thoroughly and efficiently achieve cleaning goal.

 

Without Any Fuss or Worry

The robot will back to the charging dock and recharge automactically after finishing clenaing. When the power is less than 20% it will recharge to 80% and get on with the unfinished work.

 

Powerful and Sturdy

For smoother cleaning, the robot uses powerful Nidec brushless DC motor which delivers up to 1800Pa air pressure. The main hover brush automatically adjusts height to create a tight seal with floor for thorough dirt pick-up on uneven surfaces.

 

10mm Edge Cleaning

With wall sensor, the robot maintains 10mm distance from walls for the side brush to effectively clean edges.
